ChordCraft is the songwriting and theory app at the centre of everything MooneChild makes. Pro unlocks the full chord finder and interactive keyboard, every Lab module and lesson, all practice routes with progress tracking, and the full Simplex assistant while your membership is active.

ChordCraft Pro is a living product: new lessons, practice routes, chords and theory modules are added continuously, and your progress, saved sessions and Simplex access are kept in sync across devices on our servers. A subscription pays for that ongoing work and hosting. A one-time purchase would freeze the app at whatever exists on the day you buy it.

It is deliberately priced below the cost of a single fifteen-minute music lesson while staying high enough to fund new content every month. The price also includes Simplex Plus, which is a one-time purchase on its own, so a Pro member effectively gets both apps for the price of one.

Yes. The free tier always exists — you can open the chord finder, try the keyboard and sample lessons without paying, so you can decide whether Pro is worth it before you subscribe.

Yes. ChordCraft Lab Pro offers a 14-day free trial: you get full Pro access, you are not charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs nothing.

Your account and progress history are kept. You drop back to the free tier, and if you resubscribe later everything picks up where you left off.

Simplex is the DAW assistant: workflow guides, session notes and setup help built around three major DAWs — Cubase, FL Studio and Ableton. Plus unlocks the full assistant signed in, saved sessions on every device, and the complete workflow guides.

Simplex Plus is a finished tool, not an ever-growing course. You buy the workflow system once and keep it — there is no monthly server cost to cover and nothing expires. When meaningful updates are added, existing owners get them; we did not want to charge rent for a utility.

The live price is shown on the buy button on the Apps page — it is a single payment in your local currency, converted at checkout. Taxes are calculated by Stripe at checkout.

You don't need to. Simplex Plus is included with an active ChordCraft Pro membership, so Pro subscribers get both apps for one subscription. The one-time purchase exists for people who want Simplex on its own without a membership.

Yes. A Simplex Plus purchase never expires and stays tied to your MooneChild account, so you can reinstall and sign back in on any device.

It is the account area behind every purchase: your library of courses and lessons, progress and badges, certificates, invoices and receipts, refund requests, renewal dates and billing controls — all in one place.

Because it is not a product — it is the delivery system. Everything you buy (a course, Simplex Plus, a membership) is consumed through the portal, so charging for it would just be a tax on our own products. It is included with every purchase.

No. Anyone can create a free account. Free courses, the chord finder and your purchase history are available without any membership.

Prices are listed in USD. At checkout, Stripe converts to your local currency at the current exchange rate and adds applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) based on your location. The listed price is the base price before currency conversion and tax.

They are different shapes of product. A subscription rents ongoing access to a growing library and its tools; a course is a complete, finished program you own permanently. One is a service, the other is content — which is also why one is priced monthly and the other once.

Yes — refund rights are covered in the refund policy. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time so you are never charged again, and courses and one-time purchases are eligible for refunds within the terms described on the refund policy page. Requests are handled from your Members portal or by emailing support.

All payments are handled securely by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers, and the charge appears on your statement as MooneChild Enterprise.

ChordCraft Pro at $7/month. It includes the full ChordCraft app and Simplex Plus while active, and members also get member pricing on courses. If you only want Simplex, buy Simplex Plus once; if you only want a course, buy the course.
