This policy explains how MooneChild Enterprise, LLC ("MooneChild," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our websites, create an account, or purchase courses, memberships, subscriptions, or merchandise.
When you buy from us or create an account, we collect:
- Account details — the email address you use to sign in.
- Order and buyer details — your name, email address, billing address, phone number (if provided), the items you purchased, amounts paid, currency, and payment status. These come to us from Stripe, our payment processor, at the time of purchase.
- Shipping details — the delivery address you submit for physical merchandise.
- Learning activity — lessons completed, quiz scores, certificates earned, and support conversations, so we can save your progress.
- Technical data — basic log information such as your browser and approximate region, used to keep the site secure and working.
We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout and are handled only by Stripe under their Stripe Privacy Policy.
We use the information above to:
- process your payment and deliver what you purchased (course access, memberships, digital downloads, or merchandise);
- generate invoices and receipts and send them to your email;
- match invoices and receipts to your real name and address so your records are accurate;
- process refunds you request and email you about their status;
- send renewal reminders before a subscription payment is taken;
- save your course progress, certificates, and badges to your account;
- respond to your support messages and refund requests;
- detect fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, and keep our accounts and records.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Payments, subscriptions, invoicing, and refunds are processed by Stripe. When a purchase is confirmed, Stripe sends us a secure notification (a webhook) containing the order details and buyer information described above, which we record in your account and in our order records. Stripe may also set cookies for fraud prevention during checkout.
We email you only about things connected to your account or purchases: receipts and invoices, refund updates, renewal reminders, certificate notices, and replies to your support questions. These are service emails rather than marketing, and are part of delivering what you paid for.
Order, invoice, and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Account and learning progress data is kept while your account remains active. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see "Your choices" below).
We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the site:
- Stripe — payment processing, invoicing, and refunds;
- Supabase — secure hosting of your account and learning data;
- Email delivery provider — to send receipts, reminders, and replies;
- Print/shipping partner — only the delivery address needed to ship merchandise you order.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
You can update your name, email, and billing address at any time from your member profile, and your changes will be used on future invoices and receipts. You may also email us to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and associated personal data. Deleting your account removes access to purchased courses and certificates.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout, restrict access to personal data to authenticated staff tooling, and rely on Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure for all payment data. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach that affects you as required by law.
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be signposted on the site.
