Seven guided days with Simplex, free.

Simplex is free to keep — this is the structured week that turns it into a habit. Follow the plan, finish one sketch, and see exactly where ChordCraft Lab takes over.

What the week includes
  • Simplex DAW Assistant, free — no card, no expiry on the app itself
  • Works with Cubase, FL Studio and Ableton Live
  • A day-by-day plan so the week ends with a finished sketch
  • Session setup, routing, mixing and troubleshooting on demand
  • A log on your Studio dashboard so the hours actually count

The seven days

One session a day, thirty minutes each.

Day 1

Open Simplex beside your DAW

Install nothing new. Launch Cubase, FL Studio or Ableton Live, put Simplex on the second half of the screen and let it set up a working template — tracks, buses, monitoring, tempo.

Day 2

Routing without the rabbit hole

Ask Simplex for a send, a sidechain, a parallel bus. It walks the exact clicks for your DAW instead of a generic YouTube detour.

Day 3

Start a sketch, not a project

Eight bars, drums and one chord bed. Simplex keeps you moving when the arrangement stalls — the point this week is finishing, not perfecting.

Day 4

Mixing moves that actually land

EQ carving, compression targets, level staging. Simplex explains what it's doing while it does it, so the move transfers to the next song.

Day 5

Hit the theory wall (on purpose)

Simplex will get the sound right — then you'll want a chord that lifts the chorus. That's the seam where ChordCraft Lab picks up: progressions, scales and ear training behind the production.

Day 6

Take one ChordCraft idea back into Simplex

Grab a progression from the free Lab tools, play it in, and let Simplex shape the arrangement around it. That loop — make in Simplex, decide in Lab — is the whole workflow.

Day 7

Finish it and choose your next step

Bounce the sketch. If the production side felt fine but the musical choices didn't, that's your answer: the Lab Pro trial opens the library free for another seven days.

Day 8 and after Upgrade path

Simplex finishes the track. ChordCraft Lab writes it.

Keep Simplex forever — it stays free. When the production stops being the hard part, move up to ChordCraft Lab Pro: another seven days free, then $7/month, cancel any time.

  • Progression Vault — chords that fix the chorus you couldn't lift
  • Ear Training Path — hear the interval before you hunt for it
  • Workshops, teardowns and workbooks with progress tracking
  • Studio practice routes and the printable syllabus
